"It always seems impossible until it's done." Nelson Mandela
In this assignment I took a photo I took in photo booth. Then I took it to photoshop to crop and change the color of the pictures. In this photo there are 4 of the same image just cropped down and color changed.

These pictures inspire me because if you think about what goes into the picture it is quite amazing. Take the first picture for example the settings that the photographer has to find to take the perfect picture. Such as aperture and shutter speed to capture this great picture.
All these pictures are very fast. And these pictures inspire me to be able to take pictures of these cars going full speed. By using my shutter speed and be able to capture them. They also inspire me to be able to capture all the fine line and small things about these cars.
Shutter speed 1/10Shutter speed 1/25Shutter speed 1/50Shutter speed 1/80In this assignment I was trying to demonstrate how shutter speed applies to the blurriness of the photo. For example the slowest shutter speed is one of ten. Which means the shutter is only open for 1 tenth of a second. Not allowing the picture to capture focus or show movement. When in the 1/80 picture it allows to show movement. Aperturef3.5f4.5f6.3f8.0In this assignment I took pictures of markers to show the effect that aperture have on depth of field. You can't really see it but in the first picture the aperture was set at f3.5. This is a very open aperture that shows off everything. But in the last one the aperture was set at f8 which is a very small hole. You shouldn't be able to see the markers behind the first one because they would be blurred out. aperture has a direct impact on the depth of field of your photos. Shutter and Ap Question1. freezes image and shortens amount of time light exposed.
2. It shows motion in image and lengthens the amount of time light is exposed. 3. It allows more time the sensor is exposed. The depth of field is big. 4. It shortens the amount of time the light is exposed for and and the depth of field is limited. In this assignment we were asked to explore our auto feature on our cameras. And also to learn different features of taking photos such as rule of thirds, lines, and act. We were sent out around our school and took photos of such features. Rule of ThirdsPattern
TextureDepth of fieldLinesFramingPerspectiveSpaceBalanceColorAt the end of our project I learned lots about taking photos. Not just photos but good ones. For example the rule of thirds is good for taking a picture of someone. I would usually just line the camera up straight on them but now I know not to do that. You need to use he guide lines to make it seem like you actually there. All in all very good assignment.
Hey!! My name is Montgomery and I attend Saline High School. I am taking digital photo because I needed a tech credit. But I'm very excited to take the class. I am a senior and on the football team. I plan on going to a technical school to be a diesel technician. I like to fish and work on cars when I can. But I am usually hanging out with friends or doing homework, when I'm not at practice. I've been playing football most of my life and I enjoy it very much. I hope you enjoy my blog and my pictures!
